Credit Control Visiting Officer
We are a credit union serving people living in Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan, and working anywhere in Wales. We work with over 40 employers and 20 schools to deliver fair finance in our communities. With nearly 9,000 members, we are progressive, with plans to grow and develop our services, both digitally and in-branch.
We have recently been awarded Cardiff Social Enterprise of the Year 2019, and our personal loans have been awarded with the 5 star Fairbanking Foundation accreditation.
This rewarding position was created specifically to prevent and assist members from falling into arrears. It will involve early contact with members, including regular home visits to make repayment agreements, help with signposting to money and debt agencies as needed and to support the wider financial wellbeing of our members.
The role involves evening and Saturday work as needed, and is shared with Bridgend Credit Union for one day per week. A copy of the role profile and person specification can be found here.
